You are bidding on a 2006 BMW M Roadster. This is the BMW M Division’s high performance version of the Z4. This convertible has a 330 hp naturally aspirated inline six cylinder engine mated to a 6 speed manual transmission. In addition to the more powerful engine in the M model over the base Z4, the M roadster is equipped with more powerful brakes and has other performance enhancing upgrades. This car was purchased in 2008 as a BMW certified pre-owned vehicle. Just under 12,000 miles have been added since that designation. The scheduled annual maintenance has been done at the local BMW dealership. The right front tire was replaced recently because of a nail in it and the new tire has only 250 miles on it. The other tires have only about 2,100 miles on them. Since purchased in 2008 the car has been garage kept and the top covered between drives, never smoked in and never driven on winter salt treated roads. The car runs great. Everything is in working order except for the cup holder on the passenger side. The holder comes out and closes normally but one of the retractable arms came off as shown in the photos. The interior and exterior are in excellent condition. Cosmetic blemishes are seen in the photos with a small ding on the top of the right front quarter panel, very minor age expected wear on the rims and cracks in the protective plastic shield (not in the paint itself) covering the front end of the hood and over the side mirrors. This roadster could be yours for a dramatic savings over the cost of any new BMW M model. A new M model of the current Z4 is not available as BMW limits the production runs of their M models. Only 3,041 North American-spec versions of the car were made during the production run from 2006-2008.
